Physician Spotlight

Sudhir Sehgal , MD

untitledDr. Sehgal is the Director at Aspire Sleep Center in Huntsville Texas, he is also affiliated with HMH as the full time consulting physician in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Sehgal is an active member of the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, and the American Acad-emy of Sleep Medicine. March 6th –12th was annual Sleep Awareness Week, and we are reminded to ask ourselves why sleep is so im-portant. When you sleep your body rests and restores its energy levels. However, sleep is an active state that affects both your physical and mental well-being. A good nights sleep is the best way to help you cope with stress, solve problems, or recover from an illness. Getting too little sleep can cause such symptoms as impaired memory and thought processes, depression, and decreased immune response. If you are having trouble sleeping please contact us at 936-293-8883.
